<p>Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Boulder ClimateSmart Grant Program, the BHC was able to install photovoltaic panels at the Masala cooperative in 2010.</p>
<p>The Boulder Housing Coalition would like to thank the following  organizations for their generous support of this project:</p>

<p><a href="http://www.sre3.com/">Standard Renewable Energy</a></p>
<p>This 4.3 kw solar array compensates for a significant fraction of the Masala Co-op&#8217;s total energy usage.</p>

We currently own two permanently affordable rental cooperatives that are located in central Boulder and are home to 24 residents.</p>
<p>Together these houses make up the first affordable cooperative housing system in Colorado. We are working to create a federation of housing cooperatives that will provide both affordable rental and home ownership opportunities.</p>
