Fundraising

The majority of the Boulder Housing Coalition’s operational funds come from the dues that our members pay when they live in one of our communities.  We supplement that income by applying for grant funding, and through independent fundraising campaigns.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, contributions to the BHC are tax-deductible.

To contribute to the BHC, you can send a check made out to the Boulder Housing Coalition to: 744 Marine St., Boulder, CO 80302. If you wish to earmark it for a particular purpose, please note which of the campaigns (described below) you would like your donation to support in the memo.  If you find it more convenient, you may also donate to us directly via PayPal, either by sending a payment to fundraising@boulderhousingcoalition.org or by using the donation button in the sidebar of this site.  If you wish to donate via PayPal to one of the specific campaigns, use the links below.  If you would like to donate appreciated securities (e.g. stocks, bonds, or mutual funds) please contact our fundraising team directly.

The North American Students of Cooperation (NASCO) organizes a summer internship program each year.  For 2015, the Boulder Housing Coalition will be sponsoring an intern to work for 3 months coordinating the Make Boulder Home campaign to legalize cooperatives and other types of shared housing in Boulder.  We will provide the intern with housing and food, and a $250/month stipend, in exchange for 30 hours of work per week, from May 15th through August 15th.  For more information, see the internship announcement.
